Aftercare Advice
Botox Aftercare
Avoid bending over or laying down for 2 hours post treatment.
Avoid getting too HOT 48 hours after treatment: For example, strenuous exercise, drinking alcohol, saunas/steam rooms, hot weather, sunbeds. This is because heat causes increased blood flow, which may cause the Botox to be dispersed and therefore not last as long.
Avoid facial massages, facial electrical stimulation, dermaroller, semi-permanent make up, laser treatments or microdermabrasion for 2 weeks after your Botox treatment.
Avoid touching the face, applying make-up
Do not apply make- up or have a spray tan for 24 hours. This is to avoid infection.
Do not apply pressure when cleansing your face. Use gentle strokes away from the eyes. This is to avoid preventing the Botox from reaching the cells it needs to in order for it to work.
